Vegan Thanksgiving from Veggie Grill

Fun fact: I’ve been eating Thanksgiving leftovers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the past 3 days. Sue me.

Happy Late Thanksgiving everybody! I’m not the biggest fan of the actual holiday considering it is centered around killing turkeys and celebrating stealing Native American land, BUT on the bright side, it is a holiday that is about being thankful and also eating delicious food. So… look on the bright side I guess? (And donate to The Native American Rights Fund!)

Anyway, a bunch of vegan restaurants around Los Angeles were offering set Thanksgiving meals that you could pick up the day before Thanksgiving, that way you wouldn’t have to cook an entire vegan feast all by yourself! So thoughtful!! After much deliberation and going over the various menus, my sister and I finally chose Veggie Grill! Because we felt Veggie Grill would prioritize taste over any other shenanigans!

The meal came with a holiday roast (cheated on my bae tofurky this year. It’s not you, it’s me), green beans with cheese and crispy onions, mashed potatoes with gravy, cranberry sauce, and mashed yams. Guys it was LITTTTTTTTTTT. Like everything was out of this world incredible. Like I cannot stress this enough. My friend all the way in San Diego texted us and was like “wow I just had the best Thanksgiving meal from Veggie Grill” and were like “OMG SAME”. So good. So if you are in LA and need a Thanksgiving meal, check out Veggie Grill!! It won’t let you down!!

And for dessert, Whole Foods sells an incredible vegan pumpkin pie!
