Vegan at Something Natural in Greenwich, CT

Ok, y’all, my sister and I have pretty much gone to every vegan restaurant (or restaurant with vegan options) in Greenwich and somehow missed this one???? Shame on us. How did we stumble upon this gem?

Well, here’s a long story short: My sister and I went to a chase bank on Greenwich Avenue to get tip money for our hair colorist after dying our hair and, on our way back to the salon, we passed this little cute cafe hiding behind the avenue. We had never seen or heard of this place, but decided to walk in simply because it was cute af.

Lo and behold, the inside was even MORE adorable and the staff was so incredibly friendly. Plus, the vibes of the cafe were so on point. Very carefree and beachy, yet almost Parisian in a weird way. I know that makes no sense, but just roll with it, ok!?

The cafe was split into two sections: the expresso/coffee bar and the sandwich/salad bar. The expresso bar had every milk alternative you can think of, so my sister and I got two iced matcha lattes with almond milk. I personally would recommend adding sweetener to the matchas because they were amazing, but also VERY matcha-y. Does that make sense? Like it was straight-up ceremonial grade matcha. So unless you love the slightly bitter and v earthy taste of pure matcha, maybe add some stevia. Also, the guy gave us large matchas even though we ordered mediums (at no additional cost) because he was the GOAT.

At the sandwich bar, we got the veggie, hummus, sprout sandwich on nine-grain bread with mustard added. The sandwiches were SO GOOD!!!! Bella and I talked about them for a solid few minutes after we finished and are definitely planning on coming back next time we’re in Greenwich. The ingredients tasted hella fresh and the hummus was danky. (FYI, all of the breads are vegan except the baguette and some other one, so you might want to ask again to double check.)

10/10 would come back.
