Vegan at Skydive Perris

I WENT MOTHER FU*KING SKYDIVING!!!! Crazy, right? I just casually jumped out of a plane 12,500 feet in the air. No biggie.

How this crazy idea came about you ask? Great question. I asked myself that very same question, seconds before I jumped out of that plane LOL.

But actually, I came across the idea from watching a Kardashians episode (hold judgments until the end of the story lol) and seeing Kendal and Scott do it. Kendal was super afraid to jump but did it anyway and it was really inspiring to see someone overcome their fears. I decided: you know what? It’s 2019, betches! Let’s have fun and tell fear to stfu.

So one of my besties, Jay, and I got our shit together and drove all the way to Perris, CA for our skydiving adventure. First all, everyone at Skydive Perris was SO incredibly kind and friendly. After being in LA, I’ve become so accustomed to people being snobby, that I was shocked to find how nice the people in Perris were (all the way from the instructors, to the divers, to the family and friends of the skydivers, etc). Like, wow LA, thanks for lessening my faith in humanity lol.

Anyway, we jumped and it was one of the BEST experiences of my entire life. I can’t even put into words how amazing it felt. Plus, the facility had a restaurant called The Bomb Shelter, where we could get food after the jump. That’s because food before the jump probably would have resulted in #vomit.

There weren’t many vegan options, but I was able to get a veggie wrap (sans cheese) that came with a spinach wrap filled with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and Italian dressing. I also got some fries on the side. I didn’t double check to see what the fries were fried in because I was still riding off the high of jumping out of a plane, but if you wanted to know, just ask the staff. They are all very kind.

Anyway, here are some pics of our grand adventure.
