Vegan at Polar Playgound – Huntington Beach, CA

No, the Polar Playground is not a playground located on the North Pole, in case any kids found this and were wondering. The Polar Playground is a little cotton candy/ice cream parlor located in Huntington Beach just an hour outside of LA. What’s so special about the Polar Playground you ask?

Well, they are known for their cotton candy characters that are SO DARN CUTE you just want to eat ’em!! Luckily, you can! Every day they have a new list of characters they make, which range from Baby Yoda to Homer Simpson to Spiderman to elephants and dogs and cats, etc.

There is a catch though… the line to get in is over 1 hour and 1/2 long and that’s if you arrive BEFORE it opens. Also, the line is full of kids running around, so if you don’t like kids, this is def not the place for you lol.

My friend Monica really wanted to try it, so we waited in line, but we did see some families leave out of boredom. We ended up getting a rubber duck and a Baymax cotton candy from Big Hero 6. I do have to admit, while I hate waiting in lines, the cotton candy creatures were soooooo cute!!! If you have nothing to do on a random morning, I recommend checking it out for fun! The cotton candy itself was actually really yummy too. The different colors come in different flavors. The pink and white were my favorite.

I didn’t check to see if any of the ice cream concoctions were vegan, but I don’t think they were.

Anyway, if you want to see what characters they can make (no customizations, unfortunately), check them out at their IG @polarplaygound ๐Ÿ™‚
