Vegan at Palace Hotel Tokyo

On our most recent trip to Japan with our dad, we had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Palace hotel, right next to the Imperial Palace. If you don’t know what that is, then you can’t sit with us.

Although many people will warn you not to go to Japan because of “lack of vegan options,” those people are just haters and you know what I say to haters??? Nothing, because they don’t deserve my time.

If you want to go to Japan, go!! Follow your dreams, especially because most metropolitan cities will 100% have vegan options for American tourists… even on the room service menus!

Now the Palace Hotel did have restaurants in the actual building, but because my sister and I spent most of our time exploring the city, we didn’t get the chance to check them out. However, we always ordered room service for breakfast right before our Tokyo adventures.

Every morning we ordered: cornflakes with soy milk and a side of berries. We also ordered papaya with lime and sliced mango. I know that sounds boring, but the fruit in Japan is INSANE. It tastes like candy. The soy milk is lit too. The menu also had a vegan tofu scramble option, but because I don’t like tofu scramble, I stuck wit ma cornflakies.

Here are some of the other vegan menu items (marked with a V) that the hotel offered. We did have the spaghetti one night in (for some reason, I can’t find the pic) and it was actually really good! Who knew the Italian food in Tokyo was good!?

Anyway, if this already isn’t proof, don’t be afraid to go to Japan. Almost every popular hotel will have American tourists in mind and offer some kind of vegan option. Hmmm, don’t we all have American tourists on our minds… *wink*
