Vegan at Harrods London

If you’ve been to London, you’ve def heard of Harrods or have shopped at Harrods. If you haven’t and are like “wtf is Harrods!?” – let me explain.

Harrods is a giant department store in London that has literally everything you can imagine, from food to designer clothes, to art, to… just everything. LMAO I know that’s vague, but I can only explain it as a bougie, massive Bloomingdales or SAKS on steroids.

Anyway, as I said, they have a few restaurants in the department store, but they also have a food hall full of snacks and chocolate. To start with the quick part of this blog, most of the chocolates and candies weren’t vegan BUT (always a but), we did find a huge selection of dates (~nature’s candy~)!

We got the big juicy dates with the candied orange peel in the middle. So, so good and fresh. FYI, I asked and the dark chocolate dipped dates are NOT vegan. So don’t eat them unless you’re a fake ass b*tch. Kidding… maybe.

For lunch, we ended up going to a Lebanese restaurant on the second floor (if my tiny brain is remembering that correctly) called Em Sharif, since it was apparently the place with the best vegan options in the entire department store.

The food was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m legit so sad I can’t go to this restaurant weekly. It’s tragic.

My sister, friends, and I all ended up splitting a few fattoush salads, falafel with tahini, and heaps of fresh hummus and pita.

The hummus and tahini tasted so, so good. Almost as good as the hummus and tahini I had in Israel. Also, the fattoush salad was out-of-this-world AMAZING. I could eat it every day of my life. They also had a vegan dessert, but we were too stuffed to try it, so next time!

Vegan or not, you must check out Em Sharif. It gets a 100/10 from me. If you don’t go here, don’t even talk to me.
