Yes, ladies and gents, we have officially made the trek to Donut Friend. (I only say trek because I was told it was an hour away from my campus and I was too lazy to ever go BUT….it turns out it’s like 20 minutes away w/ no traffic #lol #whoops). 

Anywayyyyy, anyone who’s anyone (vegan of course) in LA has either gone to or heard of this donut place. It’s called Donut Friend and basically almost 90% of their donuts are or can be made vegan and can also be customized!!! (Is this like real life or is this just fantasy?)

The sis and my roomate and I decided to be adventerous and tried the vegan Nutella Vission (Salted vanilla glaze w/ vegan nutella in the middle), Maple Pumpkin (Seasonal special w/ vegan cream cheese frosting in the middle), the “cake” S’more donut (the cake donuts are denser and gluten-free) and the coconut bacon glaze donut. 

WE LOVED the nutella-vision and the coconut bacon. The sesonal special was good (not amazing) and the s’mores donut?…let’s just say to stay away from the cake donuts. Catch ma drift? 

Oh yeah, I also got donut holes covered in vanilla glaze which literally rocked my world.

Anyway, grab a few friends (if you have any lol) and try a few donuts at donut friend!
