So, I’m an adventurous eater, everyone knows this but, to my dismay, I had never in my life tried Vietnamese food before last week. What is wrong with me??? 

Wait, I should probably backtrack a bit and explain why I was in Portland. Spring break. Now that you know, let’s get back to talking about food lol. 

So my sis, my friend Jay, and I were on our way to Powell Bookstore (a huge ass bookstore in Portland, Oregon) when we decided we were cold and hungry and needed to stop for food. That’s when we spotted Bambuza! 

I believe Bambuza is a Vietnamese chain food restaurant in Portland (possibly in more locations??) but lemme just tell you upfront, their food is BALLER. My sis and I got the tofu spring rolls, as well as the vegan Pho. First of all, everyone I know loves pho and I always thought it was just overrated soup, but lemme tell you, I was wrong. This pho was so, so good and hearty and warm, it GAVE ME LIFE. 

So if you’re in good ole Portland and searching for somewhere quick to eat with delicious food at a reasonable price, def check this place out. Pho-real.
