Unicorniverse Bakery Review – Austin, Texas

Sooooooo my sister and I went to Austin Texas to visit our aunt for Thanksgiving this year and it was a BLAST. Not only because Austin Texas is so fun and vegan-friendly, which is a major slay, but also because our aunt is like our triplet, so it’s always a fun time.

While we were there, we heard about this super cute ALL VEGAN bakery called Unicorniverse on Tik Tok and knew we just had to go. I mean, the name alone is iconic.

So we ventured out and OMGEE Y’ALL. This place was the cutest fucking little bakery of all time and I can’t believe it is all vegan. For a vegan place in the south, you would think it would be dead, but it was popping and packed fun of customers (mostly kids, but you know what, I’m a kid at heart, ok!?)

The decor was as magical as the name of the cafe. Totally instagrammable. Tons of blue flowers and art and chandeliers, all kind of giving a magical unicorn version of Breakfast at Tiffanys

They serve vegan breakfast/lunch and a variety of fun flavored lattes, but they also had TONS of vegan croissants and pastries and a giant array of different flavored macarons.

We got the toffee nut pistachio lattes, an almond croissant, and Bella and I each got a box of six macarons. I got the matcha, earl gray, Mexican hot chocolate, maple, oreo, and something else I can’t remember. Bella got some of those, also with salted caramel, hazelnut, and some others.

These were straight up Laduree level. Some of the best macarons I’ve eaten both vegan and non-vegan. They were made to pure perfection. The flavors were all so unique and pronounced and the texture was impeccable.

The almond croissant and lattes were also incredible as well. 10/10 for vibes. 10/10 for treats. 10/10 for stealing my cold little heart.
