Humble London Review

My sis and I were recently in London for a few days and wanted to check out this super cute plant-based cafe called Humble in Chelsea. Initially we wanted to go because the cafe was 100% painted pink, but, unfortunately, when we got there, it seems they painted the outside of the restaurant grey.

Wonder why they made that lame choice because the pink was so cute, but whatever. We were there for the food, not the paint!

They have a huge pastry and pizza display case, along with an extensive menu. My sister, my friend, and I got the glazed donuts, chocolate croissant, cinnamon swirl (which the waiters kept making fun of me for calling “the swirly thing” lol), and the bao buns.

The pastries were all really good! Nothing mind-blowing, but certainly tasty and sweet and hit the spot! The bao buns though… GOLLY GEE. THOSE WERE MINDBLOWING. I’m actually crying rn because I don’t live in London and can’t UberEats those to me. Some of the best vegan bao buns I’ve EVER had.

They also had a pretty large takeaway section (is that what you call it?) with wraps, salads, drinks, etc.  We also got iced matcha lattes which were okay, but I probably wouldn’t get it again.

Anyway, great food and vibes, despite the lack of pink that I dreamed of. Also, the staff was super friendly! Woohoo!
