Burger King Impossible Whopper Review

Guys, when has anyone ever said, “I’m SO excited to go to Burger King” and been serious? Virtually no one, right? Wrong. Burger King has just released a veganized version of their classic Whopper burger using the Impossible Foods burger patty and now everyone is excited about it. Well, maybe not everyone, but vegans are shaking.

I’m literally imagining time travelers from the past coming to 2019 and being so confused that a) Burger King is getting anyone excited and b) Burger King has vegan food. We’re literally living in some twisted futuristic reality. Oh yeah, and Donald Trump is our president, so that’s fun…

Anyway, to make the Whopper completely vegan, all you have to do is omit the mayo! I would ask for some extra ketchup packets on the side because the burger can be a bit dry with no sauce on it.

So… what’s my official review on the burger? I LOVED it. Yes, it’s not gourmet and still considered garbage fast food, but it’s VEGAN garbage fast food and sometimes you have to feed the soul. It basically tasted like a vegan burger you would get at a cookout and, as a big fan of Impossible Foods, I would 10/10 get this burger again. Rebecca also agreed and said she really liked it. However, we did have one naysayer in the crowd: Bella. She said the burger was mediocre and stands by the fact that the Beyond Burger at Carl’s Jr. reigns supreme. So there you have it! You’ll have to go out and try the burgers yourself to see which one tickles your pickle!

Also, in case you plan on venturing out to Burger King anytime soon, just know that the fries, the apple pie, and the coke slushies are vegan. The apple pie is dank and tastes like a bakery Thanksgiving pie. The fries taste like ass #sorrynotsorry and the coke slushie was ok.

Is Burger King the king of vegan burgers? I say yes… for now. McDonald’s, step up your game, please.
