That’s how excited I am about there being an Alfred’s in Tokyo!! You don’t understand how basic I am and how much I love Alfred tea and how much this means to me. I’m telling you, Alfred’s beverages run through my veins. 

Now imagine my surprise when I was leaving LA (and my baby Alfred) to go to Tokyo … only to discover that they TOO have an Alfred Tea Room! Not only that, but their Alfred has  OG Japanese  Matcha (of course)and they all sell a variety of vegan desserts!!! Step up your freaking game, LA Alfred, ok!? 

My sister and I decided to get the iced half matcha latte (when in Japan, am I right?) and the half “pink drink” latte (which is just a beet-colored sweetened drink) with boba! Um, yes it was amazing and better than the drinks from LA Alfred. Also, yes it was beautiful and totally instagrammable. 

Then for the desserts, I literally felt like Alice in Alice in Wonderland eating those little “eat me” cakes. They had a selection of four flavored vegan/GF scones (which were also prettier than I’ll ever be). The flavors included: cocoa, strawberry, matcha, and tea. Each of them was delicious and the flavor profiles were lit. I literally felt like Mary Berry in The Great British Bake Off trying each of them.  

They also had two little vegan cakes to offer as well. One was a spongy chocolate cake and the other was a strawberry shortcake. Both were sooooo yummy and ~moist~. 

Would I recommend going here???? You guess.
