Vegan Easter Party Ideas and Recipes

I LOVE EASTER! Not because I’m specifically religious but because it’s a holiday that is centered around Spring and renewal and bunnies and pastel colors and CHOCOLATE. Well, since my sister and I were back home in Connecticut with our family and friends (Well, counting the OGs that showed up to our Easter party #shade #tea), we decided to throw a little Easter get together! Here are some ideas for your next Easter bash (which will hopefully be in a year? Unless you like to celebrate Easter monthly? I don’t judge. As long as you invite me!)

For decorations, we went to Party City and bought a BUNCH of things, like Easter plates, cups, balloons, decorations, bunny ears, confetti, etc. It’s fun to go all our for Holidays because they only come around once a year so you might as well celebrate! When you decorate the space around you, it helps to get into the Easter spirit. So don’t be stingy when it comes to the decorations because it definitely sets the vibe for the party! Unless you can’t/don’t want to spend money on decorations you will only use once a year. In that case, as long as you are with loved ones, that’s the celebration right there! (But decorations help!)

Also, if you don’t want to spend money, you can always make decorations! Like the Easter basket my grandma put together for the party! I love her!!!!

Next most important thing at an Easter party is FOOD. Without food, you got NOTHIN. So for our main course, we made Lauren Toyota’s (Hot for Food) Easter Pastry recipes. We made her salted caramel chocolate pastry, her sour cherry pasty (for the older people who don’t like desserts that are too sweet), and her everything bagel pastries. Our favorite was the chocolate salted caramel but they were all super yummy and fun to bake with friends!!

I also ordered some Easter candy from No Whey Chocolate like little chocolate cream eggs, Choco nones, etc. We also had some vegan cookies and brownies our friend sent us from a bakery in DC, as well as some Easter themed snacks we bought a Whole Foods like bunny graham crackers and chocolate covered almonds!

For drinks, we had a pitcher of fresh orange juice from Whole Foods as well as some Rosé because we are fancy bitches! We made mimosas with them and they were OUTSTANDING. We also had little coffee shots of the new vegan Starbucks bottled fraps and they were also so yummy! We liked the mocha better than the vanilla tho!

Next most important thing at a party is activities! For activities, we did an easter egg hunt and easter egg dying… VEGAN STYLE! For the easter egg hunt, we filled a bunch of easter eggs with No Whey Chocolate goodies and then had a giant easter egg for the grand winner which had No Whey Chocolate Easter bunnies and brownies!

I also ordered some ceramic eggs and a vegan egg dying kit from this place called Eggnots! My little sister ended up dying the eggs with her friends but they came out so cool and looked so real!
