The Safe + Fair Food Company Review

You know how Instagram targets you with ads full of products you would definitely want to buy? For example, I always get ads for vegan beauty products, tie-dye hoodies, online workout classes… just generally things that are creepily specific to my life and my recent Safari searches.

Well, because I’m a ho for vegan food, I recently got a bunch of ads for this new company called Safe + Fair Food Company which was boasting about a new line of vegan products that they were selling, which included chocolate drizzle popcorn, birthday cake popcorn, birthday cake blondies, etc. I literally had to wipe the drool from my mouth as I ran to the website to order my popcorn.

I got a bit carried away on the website and ordered the chocolate drizzle popcorn, the birthday cake popcorn, the birthday cake blondie mix, the olive oil and sea salt quinoa chips, and the hickory BBQ pea protein crisps. Yes, the last two were random. I lowkey just ordered them so I could get free shipping. Probably a consumer trap, but whatever. SUE ME.

So here’s my review. The products were inexpensive/affordable which is great. Each bag was $5 or less and the bags were pretty big. They lasted me a week or two. The packaging was also ADORABLE. I was so excited when all my products came in the mail.

Taste-wise, that chocolate drizzle popcorn is BOMBBBBBB. It tastes like the festive popcorns you get in those giant silver tins around Christmas times. You know, with the sections? Caramel corn, cheesy popcorn, and chocolate drizzle popcorn? Well, it tastes just like that. I 10/10 recommend buying this one. Maybe even buy a few bags. That shit was crack. It hit my sweet tooth perfectly.

I was less crazy about the birthday cake popcorn. I honestly think I’m just not a huge fan of the artificial birthday flavor, but if you are, you might enjoy this one. I imagine kids would enjoy it too. The savory snacks were fine. Nothing to rave home about. They were good, but I’m not running to buy more. The blondies were yummy!! Just keep in mind, you do need to use a flax egg in the recipe to make them. I didn’t have one, but luckily my sister did, so I owe her my firstborn child.

Bottom line: would I order from Safe + Fair again? For the chocolate drizzle popcorn, 100%. For the rest, probably not. But they do have other flavors of popcorns and baking mixes, along with granola, so check it out. Not sure if everything is vegan, but I know a lot of their products are.
