Vegan Snacks in a Supermarket in Paris

When you’re staying at a friends place, snacks are a must. Vegan snacks? Even more of a must.

So one night we stopped at the local super supermarket and picked up a few snacks for our stay. I do warm you, it is hard to read the labels since they are all written in French, which is why it was good to have Monica there to translate. I could recognize the word “lait” (that means milk #booyouwhore), but I almost missed something that had eggs in it, which Monica pointed out to me. Thanks bae. You’re my hero.

Anyway, we got:

1) Vegan dark chocolate covered rice cakes. So good!! Why don’t they sell these in the states??

2) Quinoa rice crackers. Again so good! I was surprised at all the gluten-free things I found in that market. Definitely a trend rn.

3) Fresh hummus. Better than any hummus I’ve had in the States. Like seriously tho.

4) Fresh mini sorbets! Legit so cute and so so good! I got a jasmine peach sorbet, which was pink colored and so yummy. Bella got a strawberry and a passion fruit.

5) Sugar popcorn. Apparently it’s a huge thing in Paris. My friend Monica said it’s an option when you go to movie theatres in Paris (salted popcorn or sugar popcorn) so I guess vegans can finally have their popcorn and eat it too!

Anyway, I was def uber satisfied with all these snacks. They don’t seem like a lot, but when you spend all day shoveling food in your mouth from different restaurants, sometimes you just want something small to snack on! (But let’s be real, I devoured these too lol)
