Vegan at Wagamama

So guys and gals, if you’re from London, you know that on almost every street you will either see a Pret a Manger, a Cafe Nero, or a Wagamama literally everywhere you go.

So basically Wagamama (wagadadda? Luke I am your wagadada) is like a chain Japanese restaurant. So it’s not like fast food, but it isn’t necesarily gourmet, ya feel?

Anyway, when I told them I was vegan, they had a seperate waitress come out to talk to me with a book of all the meals and ingredients/allergans, which was pretty cool. They were super attentive and willing to veganize whatever they could. So yassss Waga, yass!!

I ended up getting the veganized fried rice with cripsy tofu (which wasn’t fried for all you oil-free kiddos), veggie dumplings, seasoned edamame (Edadadde? Luke, I’m your ededadde), and a carrot orange juice.

The food was baseline good. Nothing to rave about. But it isn’t 100% vegan, so if you find yourself here with some non-vegan friends (or enemies? Who knows!) at least you know you have some options.
