VEGAN AT TERMINAL 4 LAX- LOS ANGELES, CA

So today we finally went home (hallelujah) and flew out of Terminal 4 at LAX American Airlines to JFK, and ate some yummy goodies along the way! Can’t believe i’m finally home! (Even though i’ll be leaving again in a week lol).

So because we had a 9 am flight, we decided to get some breakfast at Real Food Daily because like i said in an earlier post (Pop Quiz: What did i say in an earlier post? Answer: Trick question. No one reads this blog), Real Food Daily is the real shit.  Their food is actually insanely amazing. Olie got the breakfast sammi (like a sandwich) and she has been nonstop taking about it the entire day. That’s how much she loved it. She told me to tell y’all that she “almost died because it was so good. It was an egg McMuffin on steroids but ten times more delicious and humane”. So sounds good to me!

I got the “Ava B n’ Chez” which is basically scrambled tofu with avocado, cashew cheese, tempeh bacon, etc and….IT WAS SO MUTHA F’N GOOD. I literally ate the entire thing (it’s really filling so i brought the rest to go on the plane). But seriously, it was AMAZING. I totes recommend it. YUMMMMMMM. I want it now. On a side note, I couldn’t figure out why they called it what they did (DA FU is Ava B n Chez? I get that it’s avocado, bacon, and cheese but why phrase it like that?) and i think it’ll bother me for the rest of my life, but it was SO GOOD.

To drink, Olie got the sweet greens juice without parsley. She said  if you’re into green juices, then you’ll like it (I always wonder if people would still drink green juices if people couldn’t see the color of the drink? Like I feel like green juices are a pride thing.  #PrideAndPrejudice #GetIt?)  , but Olie said she’s not really into green drinks, so it was okay. I wanted the tropical smoothie (the mango, pineapple, coconut water w/out bananas) but they only had certain fruits like blueberries and strawberries….WAHHHH. So instead I got a carrot juice with apple juice (they didnt have oranges. It was good, but i personally think that the orange juice would have balanced it out  well #JuiceDivaRightHereeee).

Also, Olie and I were going to buy these chocolate hazelnut bars that they were selling, but when we looked on the back, it said that it had MILK in it! THE FUCK!? Were we being pranked? Ashton! Ashton! Like why would a vegan place ever sell something with milk!?!!!??!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??! When we told the lady at the counter, she said that her boss picks out the items they sell and that there was nothing she could do. Was her boss on shrooms!? SO FUCKING WIERD. On a more positive note, they were also selling this yummy looking chocolate bar with quinoa that sounded really good but i didnt get it  Probably worth checking out though! It’s like a healthy vegan Crunch bar and the package is pretty.

After, Olie and I went to a little shop with magazines and snacks and stuff and we bought some cinnamon apple chips and a ‘Nutz Over Chocolate’ Luna bar.

Also on the plane, the flight attendants put out a basket of snacks and in the basket there was a vegan granola bar! YAY! Vegan appreciation!

So my flight was filled with delicious vegan food, sleeping, and watching Paper Moon, which is suchhhhhh a cute movie.

Enjoy the pics y’all
