Vegan at Hand rolled Bagels- Rye, NY

You have to admit it. If you’re on the east coast today, you know what kind of day it is. It’s a rainy bagel kind of day.

This all started when a few of my friends from school all decided to go on a bagel voyage during break today. (I could not attend because, like the diligent student I am, I was studying for a test #lol #whoamIkidding). They all returned with warm, crispy, fluffy bagels slathered in cream cheese and devoured them in seconds. I was going to get down in the dumps because I couldn’t join in on the fun…but then I had a second thought. Maybe I could make this bagel thing work!

So my sister and I got in the car (Determined with our war paint on), pulled up to hand rolled (Ready, with palms sweating), and (Bravely) got ourselves two large, fluffy, and heavenly smelling everything bagels. Mission accomplished.

When we got home, we toasted them, slathered them in tofutti (Vegan alternative for cream cheese) and my taste buds had a party in my mouth! (Not even joking, this might have been the first party I was invited to all year).

As we have shown you, vegans can have their rainy bagel days too!

If you’re in rye, you must check it out! They have all different flavors of bagels from garlic to cinnomen raison to flagel (Flat bagels!) Suuppppperrrr yummy!
