Vegan at Four Seasons Resort Maui – Maui, Hawaii

HEY GUYS. So thanks to our boss-ass older sister Sophie (who planned an entire sister trip), Olie, my sis Soph, and I spent a week in Hawaii over Christmas break. And it was v relaxing and v Moana-y!

SO. First things first. Being vegan at a resort (on a very isolated Island where taxis to leave the resort are expensive AF) is VERY limiting. Warning you now. You will eat LOTS of chips and guac, fruit plates, and baked potatoes.  BUT we did find some vegan options and are here to help make your Four Seasons Maui experience an extra relaxing one (because we all know trying to find vegan food is somewhat stressful, especially when you’re HANGRY AF. Aka me all the time)

First things first, the cafe at the base of the hotel by the pool (forgot the name) actually had LOTS of vegan items, even marked too. Low-key, we realized they were marked vegetarian so I would double check, but I’m pretty sure they were all vegan.

TEMPEH BLT. Yes ladies (and gents? Do men read this blog? lol who cares #boybye), they had THE MOST AMAZING vegan TLT ever. If you come here, get this motherfuckin wrap. It will blow your socks off (hopefully you’re not wearing socks in Hawaii tho, cuz it’s real hot there lol)

And again, THE SUPERSTAR of the trip: Chips and guac! (by the end of the trip, I couldn’t look at chips and guac without wanting to BARF) #ChipAndGuacOverdose

Ok, I don’t know the names of each cafe, but another one of the breakfast places at the hotel had oatmeal that Olie LOVED. You can order it with brown sugar, maple syrup, fruit, cinnamon, and warm almond milk.

They also had a VERY extensive smoothie menu with literally every fruit, vegetable, milk alternative, and protein powder on it. So I put basically everything in one smoothie and it was SO delicious.

NOW FOR THE BEST PART: ROOM SERVICE (Because what else are hotels good for other than room service and mini bars?)

  • Of course, THE CLASSIC: Fruit plate. Ya’ll better be resourceful enough to know this is probably available at every hotel and is always vegan lol. Butttt Hawaiian fruit is extra sweet and crisp (#PineappleOverdose #VacationStruggles #lol)

  • Baked potatoes. Sounds boring, is boring, but is low-key delicious? Basically tastes like french fries but not fried? Legit so underrated. Order with barbecue sauce and ketchup on the side and you basically have one GIANT french fry #LifeHacks

  • Good news: They also had a “Wellness menu” with a ton of raw vegan options, such as quinoa sushi (which we thought was just o-kayyy), raw raspberry lemon cheesecake (actually AMAZING), and chocolate mouse with raspberries and chocolate shavings (actually AMAZING). They had other things on the small wellness menu, but this is all we ordered from it

– You can also order smoothies of any kind, which were always super fresh and ice-y and delicious

– The also had these vegan chocolate bars on the room service menu under the “snacks” section so #YAS

SO. If you find yourself at The Four Season in Maui, you can be rest assured that you have LOTS of options. However, some of these food items are only available at certain times of the day/at certain places, so keep in mind, you prob will be eating lots of fruit and chips and guac LOL.

P sure I became a chip and guac after this trip.
