Vegan at Al Fassia – Marrakech, Morocco

GUYS. I love Moroccan food. It’s SOOO good. Like it’s so random, right? Like who would have thought that I would like Moroccan food???? (Lol, I don’t think anybody sits around contemplating what types of food I would like… but if you did, I bet Moroccan wouldn’t be at the top of your list lol)

This place was one of my favorite places that we went to in Morocco. The food was SO tasty. Like delicious. (Just make sure to specify what vegan means to the waitresses/waiters. It really helps if you speak either Arabic or French btw).

For the appetizer, I got the hummus, baba ganoush, and another type of salad. I really liked the hummus, as for the other two, I wasn’t the biggest fan. I also ate the dates that came with everybody else’s dishes which are always amazing in Morocco

For the main course, I had the BEST dish ever. This was my favorite thing I had while I was in Morocco. And YES, it looks like Medieval slop, but it was INCREDIBLE. It was a lentil, squash (or pumpkin?) stew. I’m so sorry I don’t remember the name, but I think it was on the vegetarian menu. UGH. Everybody was like “I wish I ordered that”. It was THAT good. I’ve been craving it ever since I ate it. YUM.

I also got the veggie couscous which is always a winner

And for dessert, because I ordered off the vegetarian menu or something, it came with a fruit plate for dessert lol
