Vegan Dessert Recipes (Cookies, Chai Lattes, pretzel bites)

Hey everybody, did you know that upon turning vegan, you go through a baking phase? Sounds weird, but it’s true. My sister and I went through an obsessive baking phase in 10th grade where all we did was bake vegan stuff at like  2 in the morning and watch Lord of The Rings…i know, we’re so cool. (But i mean, have you seen Aaragorn? He’s literally the most handsome man alive). We baked so much that there are signs around our kitchen saying “No baking after 8″…..So awkward. And my friend who just turned vegan was telling me how obsessed she is with baking now. I’m telling you, it’s a thing.

Well, yesterday my friend Mimi came over and we spent the whole day baking!

So if you’re going through that baking phase right now, it is normal, you have our support, you get over it after like a month, and here are some recipes to help you get through it.

We made pretzel bites, chocolate chip cookies (with a new recipe), and chai lattes! SO YUM! And don’t worry, it wasn’t after 8 😉

Perfect for inviting over a non-vegan friend to show him/her how yummy vegan food can actually be!

 

Chai Lattes 

(we used this ingredients list and loosely followed the instructions on the website. Also we substituted agave for honey because honey is usually not vegan)
