Vegat at Hollywood Farmer’s Market- Los Angeles, CA

So people, as you know, the sis and I are just a bunch of fun-lovin, adventerous gals and thought it would be fun to check out the Hollywood Farmer’s Market one weekend so…we did! And we adventured with one of our close friends, Sol!

So, as you know, LA is the vegan Promise Land so there were many, many vegan options! Not only was there amazing vegan options, but literally every guy there was sexy af. Like even the dads. (Like is this where all the dilfs hang out??)

First off, of course, there were like a trillion fruit stands and we thought we’d be adventerous and try some new fruits.

  1. Bacon Avocado
  2. Sapote (Apparently it’s supposed to taste like a mix of a banana and a guava?)
  3. Persimmons (It was my first time trying them!)

Everything was delicious!!! (Not pictured, I also got a bag of honey dates from the date stand and it was so yumo-licious)

Then they had a stand called Coblermania which we recognized since the lady who owns it came to USC last year to guest star on a food show Bella produced and I crewed on… and she rcognized us! #score #yassss

Anyway, she makes fresh, delicious cobblers in all different flavors (like mad yummy cobblers) and that day, she made motha-fuckin-cobbler-milkshakes!!!! Like is this real life?? #drooling

So if you like delicious things and love yourself enough to eat delicious things, COME HERE!

On the topic of sweets, there was also an ice cream truck called Carmela that had delicious chocolate sorbet and  other vegan flavors. Also, not the mention the guy in the ice cream truck was legit hilarious. Like I still don’t know if he was on something or high as a kite, but it definitly was a YES from me.

The fun isn’t over yet, ladies and gents, there was also a cheese company that made vegan cheeses! I suck so I didn’t get the name of the place but we tried one of their truffle cheeses and it was super yummy!!!

Also, they had a baby goat that legit STOLE MY HEART. It was so friggen sweet and adorable. It was only five weeks old and they saved it from being slaughtered and the cuteness meter was just in overload. As my inner basic bitch would say “I can’t even”.

It just goes to show you how important it is to be vegan. When you see such a sweet, innocent creature like that in front of you, it makes every single decision worth it. We are saving lives people!!

AND AND AND (not food related) there was this lady who writes poems on a typewriter for free  (Although I paid her and most people do because she’s so talented) and she will write it in legit one second if you give her a topic to write on. She’s so talented.

Bella asked for her to write a poem on our Grandma (who is our favorite person on the planet) and this is what she wrote (pic below). It legit made me cry. (She does a lot of celeb events and apparently Oprah cried when she read her poem so does that mean me and Oprah are more similar than I thought?)

Anyway, we ended the trip with some shopping and lunch and overall LA meandering. If you have nothing to do one Sunday, ch-ch-check it out!
