I know the latest craze lately has been Pokemon Go, but what about actual Poke? Where’s the love for that??

So my friend Ali and I decided to check out this new raved about Poke place called “Wisefish Poke” for dinner the other day. The line was literally out the door for this place, but have no fear frannds, the line moves pretty quickly.

For those of you who do not know what Poke is, (and no it is not related to the cartoon lol), it’s basically like a rice bowl with toppings, usually fish and stuff but this place had a vegan option so hooray!

It’s called the Chelsea and it is a rice bowl with (according to the menu):

tofu·avocado
sweet onion
cucumber·edamame
sea beans·scallion
wisefish sauce

The waiter assured me everything in the Chelsea was free from animal products, including the sauce.

It was really good! Would I go back? Probably not, but if you like poke, I would def check it out!

Side note: I wonder if you could find a Pokémon at a poke bar. That would be semi-ironic, no?
