VEGAN AT THE V-SPOT- PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN

Yes, I know we’re all thinking the same thing. The name of the restaurant sounds like G-spot. Whether the restaurant owners were aware of this remains a mystery. However, for those of you who were not thinking this, than God bless you un-dirty minds and forget I said anything. Stay in school kids and always call your teachers by their last names.

Anyway, besides this restaurant having an awkward name, this is the only vegan restaurant in Brooklyn to specialize in latin cuisine. Many of us (My friends and I, yes I have friends….jeez) loved what we got, me especially #imspecial

We all got fresh apple/carrot/orange juice which we all agreed was great. (If you haven’t tried that juice combo, you should get on that quickly). I got two appetizers: the kale tostadas (Corn tortilla with raw kale, salsa, black beans, parmesan, and avocado) and the summer rolls (basically a spring roll with Thai peanut sauce). Both were delicious and filling.

Taylor got the Thai peanut pasta which I got a bite of and loved (And almost stole out of her hands #SwiperNoSwiping) and Allie and I split a breakfast empanada (Tofu scramble and tempeh in an empanada) which I really liked and Allie loved. Allie also got a chipotle wrap which she didn’t comment on, but finished the whole thing. Verdict? Your guess. Bella also got a BLT hero which she said “Just tasted like a sandwich, but that’s what I wanted”. Verdict? Your guess again.

We took all of our food to go. The service took a little while and they only take cash (But there is an atm in the restaurant, hallelujah!)

And the receipt came with a nice little quote from the Transformers movie. So if you have a chance to visit the G sp- sorry V spot, check it out!
