Vegan at the Park Hyatt Melbourne – Melbourne, Australia

Hey guys! What’s the best part about going on vacation? The bomb ass hotel room. And what’s the best part about the bomb ass hotel room? ROOM SERVICE.

And if you’ve never been to Melbourne (then get your ass over here), then you prob don’t know that almost every restaurant in Melbourne knows what “vegan” means. Most restaurants even have a vegan option. I know! Paradise!

So, you bet you’re bottom dollar that The Park Hyatt’s room service menu had lots of vegan options.

For room service dinner, I got

  • Chickpea omelete (yes, they serve breakfast all day #yas. Not my most favorite thing I ordered, but tasty and I appreciate the effort)
  • Fruit plate (Stellar fruit plate. Melbourne is really into passion fruit, so if you’re about passion fruit, come to Melb)
  • Potato wedges (aka fries, aka chips or whatever the F they call it here. VERY yummy. Did you know they call ketchup “tomato sauce” here? How whack is that? What do they call tomato sauce then? Marinara? Did Heintz ketchup create the word “ketchup” in America? So many un-answered questions)
  • Watermelon juice (SO good.)
  • Coconut yogurt. (Not the most tasty, but again, appreciate the vegan option)
  • Vegan cake and lemon cookies (OKAY. This wasn’t on the room service menu. HOWEVER, the hotel knew it was my birthday so they got me a vegan cake slice and vegan lemon cookies. BOTH were so f’n good. I legit stuffed my face. Thanks Hyatt! For being one of the 10 people to care about me on my birthday! LOL kidding. Kind of….)
  • Other things on the menu were marked vegan, but this is all I got

NOW, for the fancier option: the in-hotel restaurant called “Radii Restaurant and Bar”

The waiter was super accommodating and talked to the chef to see what I could eat. They whipped me up a yummy vegan risotto and some amazing french fries. Your girl aint complainin’

eeeeerrrrrrr

So if you’re at the Hyatt in Melbourne and are vegan, then YOU’RE COVERED.
