VEGAN AT SOY ROLL & KATSU

So on my walk to CVS, my spontaneous pal Kristen, was like “Let’s go to lunch!”. I quote my friend Ali (every time i try to get her to get vegan donuts with me at 12 am), “I won’t say no”. So, me and my friend Kristen opted for some sushi because it was a really hot day out and sushi is somewhat refreshing, ya feel? It was my first time here (really close to campus, next to subway) and the atmosphere was very easy going.

There was a vegetarian menu, but i didn’t feel like interrogating the nice little asian lady at the register so i opted for avocado rolls. Simple. Easy peasy. The lady at the cash register was like, “Are you tired?” And i was like “Yea just really hot” and then she made some sassy comment towards me. I was like “kkkkk byeee”, but then after she was being nice, so i was like “K are we friends now?”. I felt like she was that girl in my class that i was trying to decide whether or not to invite to my bat mitzvah.

Anyways, the sushi was good, not great by any means. The seaweed was kinda chewy, but the salad it came with was amazing (on point dressing) and dipping the sushi in the dressing made it delicious. Even though it wasn’t that great, i’ll prob go back again for a light lunch. I had a good time with my friend and sushi is always a good idea. ALWAYS.
