VEGAN AT PIZZA STUDIO- FIGUEROA ST, LA (CA)

For those of you who are new to USC and didn’t realize that the campus center closes quite early, you will have to get your din din elsewhere. Because we didn’t feel like checking out the EVK (everybody’s kitchen…I mean, at least everyone at usc) we went across the street from Marks Tower to Figueroa Street and checked out the Pizza Studio.

This is place is super fun and chill to eat at and a lot of college students go there for dinner. We asked and all the crusts are vegan except the gluten-free crusts (Sorry gluten-free vegans, none for Gretchen Weiners. bye!)

So we got to pick which crust we wanted (I got rosemary/herb but my other friends got the flaxseed and the traditional). You get to pick from a variety of sauces (not sure which is vegan. We assumed pesto and bbq were not so we went with classy tomato) and then here’s the best part: YOU GET UNLIMITED TOPPINGS!!!!

I didn’t know this at the time and I’m still a little regretful over a missed opportunity of piling my pizza with all the delicious veggies in the world *sad face*

Anyway, I did however get onions, mushrooms, broccoli, tomatoes, artichoke pieces, and pineapple. But when I asked for pineapple, I thought they would give me a few of those cute little pineapple rings and they gave me ONE CUT UP INTO EIGHT PIECES!!! <- are you serious? Geez, people really know how to be skimpy these dayz. Show me the luv son and give me a few more pineapple rings! #respect

And for dessert I got a delicious and adorable tiny mango sorbet. Just be careful because not all the sorbets are vegan. The passion fruit has egg whites in it… I know right, wtf? Oh and stay away from the 0 calories flavored raspberry water. Literally thought I was drinking watered down hand soap, but at least my mouth is clean right?

Super delicious and fun, you must go! Also, you get a free pizza on your birthday and who doesn’t love free stuff??? I actually know someone who really loves free stuff. Her name is Bonita but that’s a story for another day.
