Vegan at Mohawk Bend- Echo Park, LA (CA)

Hey guys! I’ve always wanted to go to Mohawk Bend because I always see so many instragrammers instagramming all these delish yummy dishes from there PLUS I was having CHRONIC FOMO so I thought I should go sometime.

Luckilllllyyyy my sis was kind enough to invite me to her dinner plans with her vegan friend Lily so yah #govegans!

Anyway, Mohawk Bend is like the coolest, hipster place eva! It has fireplaces and brick walls and it’s legit filled to the brim with trendy (or wanabe?) hipsters (tumblr tweens would drool).

Anyway, it has vegan and non-vegan food so it’s great to bring non-vegan family/ friends.

For drinks we all got the regular & diet housemade soda’s which were super yummy! I love natural soda!! (And non-natural soda, lets be real. I’m not a health nut  #sorrynotsorry)

For appetizers, we got the chopped salad which was SO good! It had slivers of butternut squash and it was uber yummy and refreshing! We also got the “avo & chips” which is fried avocado and french fries. Like does it get better than that??? NO. (Unless Chris Evans was involved of course lol) and we also got the vegan chili cheese fries. In the wise words of Chris Hemswoth on Snl, they were”Yumyumyumyumyum”.

For the meals we shared a BOMB pesto pizza and a super yummy baked potato pizza which tasted just like a baked potato….pizza. Yah, duh, right?

Then (drumroll please) for dessert I DIED AND WENT TO HEAVEN. We got DIY s’mores, churros w/ chocolate sauce, and a cookie pizza. LEGIT THE SMORES AND CHURROS GAVE ME LYFE – some of the best vegan desserts I’ve ever had!! (The cookies was all right, wasn’t crazy about it)
