VEGAN AT LITTLE COLLINS- NEW YORK CITY, NY

Hey folks! While Olie was dying during her first day of work (aka: first day attempting to be a normal functioning human in this crazy game we call life), I was making my way to a cute little cafe with my friends Mimi and Summer #TheGoodLife #DontMakeMeGrowUp #PeterPanIsMyHero #FerrisBeuelerIsAlsoMyHero #TooManyHashtags #Sorry #DeliriousAfterAWorkoutClass

Anyways, this place is super tiny but really hip and cool. And the weirdest part is that only attractive business men in the 20s and 30s come here #YUS. Also, the cashier person was attractive and Australian #WINNING. DSC00814DSC00815So there wasn’t as many vegan options as I thought #awks #Ithought. The people working there took forever to get back to me about if the bread was vegan. Those A holes. But they were also attractive…so forgivable? Anyways, they finally got back to me after like 20 mins #fuckallayal. The bread is not vegan and the avocado toast has cheese in it #k. But I remembered on their online menu that they had vegan lentil soup and chia pudding made with almond milk. So I just got the chia pudding (with poached pears, toasted coconut, and red grapes) and an iced coffee with soy milk.

The waiter was being a lot nicer towards the end of the experience so I can’t only say bad things (also always more brownie points if they are attractive #sorrynotsorry). Anyways, the chia pudding was AMAZING. Best chia pudding i’ve ever had. And I would totally come back for it. And the coffee was great too. DSC00819DSC00820Also, I felt super cool and in the know, when a girl came up to me and pointed at my chia pudding and was like, “What is that?” And I was like, “Chia Pudding” and she was like, “Where did you find that? It wasn’t on the menu”, and I was like (with my head held high of course), “It’s a special. You can just ask for it”. LIKE I PROBABLY SEEMED SO COOL. It’s like those people who order the cotton candy frappe at Starbucks off the secret menu. Like they know what’s up. Well, for once in my life, I knew what was up. Let’s drink to that (Pressed juice of course).
