SOOOOOOOOOOOO the best part about going to school in California is… DISNEYLAND duhhh.

So Olie and I are hardcore Disneyworld fans but this was our first time coming to Disneyland (#DisneylandVirginity) and it twas a fantastic adventure! Olie, our friends (Ali, Kristen, Austin, and Chris) and I drove a stylish mom van all the way to Disneyland at 7 in the morning (lol Kristen drove because she’s a good driver but i was in the passenger seat with the gps #TeamWork). We decided that the whole day we were going to wear sunglasses and pretend we Disney kid stars from a new pilot called Junior High Knights (although in every photo we kept posing like ninjas instead of knights but #whateva).  

Soooo anyway, HAIL THE PERSON WHO MADE THIS BLOG POST because it was our Disneyland food GPS for the entire day http://www.vegancowgirl.com/blog/vegan-cowgirl-does-disneyland

SO, the Junior High Knights, other than hitting up the rides of course, planned our day mostly around the food because what else do people plan their days around? #ComeOnNow. We first hit up the Dole Whip Stand….and let me tell you something, they put fricken drugs in their dole whip because it is AMAZING. ACTUALLY SO AMAZING I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT ITjshdfjkdshfjkdshgfkjsdhgfjkhdsgfdsjhgfkjdsahgfkjsadhgfsa seriously, it was so amazing Olie and I went back to get more before the night was over. I had pineapple Dole Whip twice in one day and i don’t regret it ONE bit. It’s addictive doe, i couldn’t stop thinking about it for the entire day. My friend said she wanted to take a nap and i heard her say “Pineapple”. I saw somebody holding corn on the cob and i saw dole whip. I saw a swirly building tower in Disney and it reminded me of dole whip. My friend’s shoes had flowers on them and I thought they were pineapples. My friend was talking about the movie frozen and right after she said frozen, i say ‘yogurt’. It haunted me the entire day (in the best way possible). #I #lOVE #DOLEWHIP #CanYouTell? #TeamDoleWhip4Life

I want dole whip more than i want this really cute guy in one of my classes and THAT is saying a lot. Anyways, after that we went to get Mickey Pretzels because a Disney trip is not complete without them #DUHHH 

 

For lunch we went to the Veranda and got vegetarian gumbo in bread bolls. THE SOURDOUGH BREAD WAS AMAZING #NotGonnaLie and the gumbo was pretty yummy too. Olie said the okra made her want to vom doe because it was slimy, but i just avoided the okra at all costs and it was super yummy (it was also huge so i didnt finish it. I would suggest sharing with someone…maybe a stranger? #Jk #ThatWouldBeOdd)

For dinner i went to the hotdog place and got the portabello hotdog. It was good, but i prob wouldn’t get it again. Like the bread was fantastic and the mushrooms inside were great but did they need to be put together? Prob not. But i appreciate the vegan hot dog option (ask for it without cheese yo #doit). the service was super slow too #EhhhNo. Oh yeah, and then my friend Kristen snapped this Americas Next Top Model worthy photo of me eating this hot dog 

 

So of course knowing me, i ate two dinners that night (on top of everything else i had eaten that day because #yolo). For second dinner (I feel like a Hobbit #WhatAboutSecondBreakfast?) we went to The Lucky Fortune Cookery (i don’t like the word cookery and i don’t know why #wierd) and got tofu terriaki rice bowls that were BOMB DIGGITY DELICIOUS (Lets be real, do you guys take me seriously after i just described something as “bomb dignity”? #ProbNot) . Anyway, it was so yummy. You can either get edamame or mango on the side too. Literally, SO yummy #yum #BombDiggity

Out friend went to the Mexican food place next door and got dinner but also got us a bag of cinnamon chips called Crispitos (when you say it fast it sounds like “Crispy Toes” which is #NotOkay) but anyway, they were both vegan and AMAZING. Literally deep fried cinnamon sugar chips and it was perfection.

 And then later Olie bought these really good oreo cookie type things in one of the candy shops that tasted like Snackwells and were so amazing that i ate like half the box because they were so good.

I guarantee you that we all had food babies by the end of the trip but we had SUCH A FUN time and be sure to catch our non existent pilot airing on Disney XD called Junior High Knights #JustKidding #KTHanksBYE
