VEGAN AT BY CHLOE- BLEEKER ST, NYC

So guys, I don’t know if you heard/are in the loop/are in with the trends and shit but NYC just opened its latest all vegan restaurant called “by CHLOE” on Bleeker st made by the one and only, adorable vegan cookbook writer Chloe Coscarelli. Talk about girl power. She legit wrote a book and opened a successful and delicious vegan restaurant in NYC. What a boss. You build that vegan Empire Chloe! You go girl!

Anyway, our friend Sami and the sis started our morning with a Barry’s Bootcamp class (Literally I drowned in my own sweat) but regardless of how gross I looked during the workout, I felt uber refreshed afterwards and guess what??? I felt NO SHAME eating a burger, fries, AND mac n’ cheese at lunch. THAS RIGHT!

The restaurant itself is so adorable. They have a community table in the middle and a few other tables to sit down at. They have a “to-go” section where you can get drinks and raw sides and stuff like that to-go (obviously) and they also have a bakery with amazing desserts! They had really good choco chip banana bread which Sami got and let me try and they even had espresso choco chip cookies and pupcakes (Cupcakes for your mother-freakin dogs. I can’t even rn)!!!

For lunch, Bella got the classic burger and Sami and I got the Guac Burger. Legit, we all devoured it in silence. It was so amazing. Not even kidding. Best veggie burger hands downnn. AMAZING. The patties were incredible, so were the toppings and the beet ketchup. Ugh salivating like Pavlov’s dog (Did you get my psych joke there??).

We also got air baked fries which were delicious and not fried, so they were guilt-free! SO YUM. And guys guys guys their mac n’ cheese is rockinnnnnnn. It’s mixed with crunchy savoury mushrooms and I legit inhaled it in about a min.

BUT nothing is perfect. Sami and Bella’s food came out within ten-fifteen minutes. Mine took half an hour or more and we had to keep reminding the counter that I had ordered. They were both done with their food by the time mine came. Was the wait worth it?….YUP. I mean, they’ve only been open a day so they were probably just getting their shit together. But it was mad annoying, tbh.

Anyway, the three of us are def going back in the winter for brunch, hot cocoa, and cinnamon buns. See you there?
