HOMEMADE FRUIT LEATHERS

What else do people have to do on Spring Break but make fruit leathers for 8 hours? I mean, come on it’s not like we’re binge watching tv shows or anything… Well today, Olie, my friend Catherine, and I decided to make fruit leathers. It was fun to make with a friend, but it took forever (baking in the oven). So if you have eight hours to spare and no life, check out this recipe!

They came out tasting like real fruit leathers! Cool, right?!  Although it took long, it gave us something to hope for, and in life, that’s the best thing you can have #Philosophical #VeganLifeDoe

And even though it took 8 hours to prepare and like 2 minutes to eat, as Hannah Montana sang, “Ain’t about how fast i get there. Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side. It’s the climb.” #SeeWhatIDidThere?

Cooking advice: Don’t leave the saucepan simmering without watching over it because it almost exploded, also we used monk fruit (sugar substitute) and agave for more sweetening.

Here are our pictures of the climb and the view
